Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Pottsgrove ripped by Sun Valley

January 6, 2024: Aston, PA 19014

The Sun Valley Vanguards basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Pottsgrove Falcons to 30 in the Vanguards non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vanguards now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morrisville for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. Sun Valley will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 53-30 league loss to Renaissance Academy (Phoenixville, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.

The Falcons (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Perkiomen Valley (Collegeville, PA). The Vikings enter the Pioneer contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Perkiomen Valley triumphed over Owen J. Roberts (Pottstown, PA), 60-24, in a league contest.
