Florida High School Basketball - Charlotte nips Barron Collier
January 6, 2024: Punta Gorda, FL 33950 Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons (Punta Gorda, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Barron Collier Cougars (Naples, FL), 34-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Charlotte upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Fightin' Tarpons travel to Port Charlotte (Port Charlotte, FL) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 6-2.
Next up, the Cougars play the Neumann Celtics (Naples, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Barron Collier will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
