With the victory, Lakota West improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Firebirds host Purcell Marian (Cincinnati, OH) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 8. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
