January 6, 2024: Wapato, WA 98951 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wapato Wolves (Wapato, WA) and the visiting College Place Hawks (College Place, WA), saw Wapato's basketball squad overcome College Place by a tally of 67-55.
With the victory, Wapato improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Wolves host Zillah (Zillah, WA) to play the Leopards in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 9-0. Zillah won 55-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Connell (Connell, WA)
Next up, the Hawks play the Naches Valley Rangers (Naches, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. College Place will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 52-45 non-league win over Wahluke (Mattawa, WA).
