January 6, 2024: Simi Valley, CA 93065 Royal Highlanders (Simi Valley, CA) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Geffen Academy Bruins (Los Angeles, CA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Highlanders confront the Moorpark Musketeers (Moorpark, CA) in a Coastal Canyon challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Royal will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Musketeers enter the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 4-0 league win over Simi Valley (Simi Valley, CA).
The Bruins now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host New Roads for a Coastal challenge on Tuesday, January 9. Geffen Academy will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-6.
