January 6, 2025: Lubbock, TX 79424 The Liberty Patriots (Lubbock, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX), 76-32 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 18-3 record. They play next when they host Levelland for a 4A Region I District 5 bout on Friday, January 10. Liberty will play a Lobos team coming off a 79-39 non-league win over Sundown (Sundown, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 12-13.
With the loss, Andrews falls to 13-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Seminole (Seminole, TX) to play the Indians in a 4A Region I District 3 bout on Friday, January 10. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 12-10. Seminole lost 62-53 in their recent non-league bout against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX)
