January 6, 2025: Jefferson, TX 75657 Bullard Panthers (Bullard, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Jefferson Bulldogs (Jefferson, TX), 65-53 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Bullard upgrades its record to 15-6 on the year. The Panthers travel to Center (Center, TX) to face the Roughriders in a 4A Region III District 17 match on Friday, January 10. The Roughriders enter the match with a record of 10-6. Center lost 68-51 in their recent non-league match against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX)
The Bulldogs now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hughes Springs for a 3A Region II District 13 match on Friday, January 10. Jefferson will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 47-32 non-league loss to Bonham (Bonham, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-13.
