January 6, 2025: New Boston, MI 48164 Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Anderson Titans (Southgate, MI), 47-24 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Huron advances its record to 9-0 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI) to meet the Bears in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Bears enter the match with a record of 5-1. Roosevelt won 53-29 in their recent league match against Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI)
The Titans now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edsel Ford for a Downriver match on Thursday, January 9. Anderson will meet a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 50-29 non-league loss to Ida (Ida, MI). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 1-6.
