Iowa High School Basketball - Ankeny Christian Academy holds off Madrid
January 6, 2025: Madrid, IA 50156 The Ankeny Christian Academy basketball team scored 32 points and limited the host Madrid Tigers to 26 in the non-league triumph on Monday.
The now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Melcher-Dallas for a Bluegrass game on Tuesday, January 7. Ankeny Christian Academy will confront a Saints team coming off a 67-21 league win over Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA). The Saints record now stands at 7-3.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Guthrie Center Tigers (Guthrie Center, IA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. Madrid will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record.
