Oklahoma High School Basketball - Lexington can't hold off Asher
January 6, 2025: Lexington, OK 73051 Asher Indians (Asher, OK) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Lexington Bulldogs (Lexington, OK), 52-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Asher advances its record to 7-7 on the year. The Indians travel to Allen (Allen, OK) to face the Mustangs in a Pontotoc match on Tuesday, January 14. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 9-3. Allen won 98-33 in their recent non-league match against Maud (Maud, OK)
The Bulldogs now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Lexington will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-22 non-league win over Bray-Doyle (Bray, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
