The Covenant Classical Warriors basketball squad (Concord, NC), was crushed 57-19 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC)

With the victory, Covenant Day advances its record to 12-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Providence Day (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Chargers in a NCISAA Charlotte Independent battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Chargers enter the battle with a record of 13-6. Providence Day won 58-50 in their recent non-league battle against Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC)

The Warriors now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valor Preparatory Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 9.
