Wisconsin High School Basketball - River Valley sneaks past Fennimore
January 6, 2025: Fennimore, WI 53809 The River Valley Blackhawks (Spring Green, WI) basketball edged the host Fennimore Golden Eagles (Fennimore, WI), 49-43 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Blackhawks now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lancaster for a Southwest Wisconsin bout on Thursday, January 9. River Valley will play a Flying Arrows team coming off a 54-35 league loss to Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI). The Flying Arrows record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Fennimore falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI) to play the Panthers in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Iowa-Grant won 63-41 in their recent non-league bout against Benton (Benton, WI)
