The Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Foothill Trojans (Bakersfield, CA), 54-30 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. Independence will play a Patriots team coming off a 51-50 non-league win over Roosevelt (Fresno, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Foothill falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Mira Monte (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Lions in a South Yosemite - Horizon bout on Wednesday, January 8.
