January 6, 2025: Iowa Falls, IA 50126 Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA), 72-28 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Roland-Story advances its record to 8-2 on the year. The Norsemen host Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA) to face the Mustangs in a Heart of Iowa match on Tuesday, January 7. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 9-1. Prairie City-Monroe won 58-27 in their recent league bout against South Hamilton (Jewell, IA)
With the loss, Iowa Falls-Alden falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA) to play the in a North Central bout on Tuesday, January 7. The go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Hampton-Dumont/CAL won 61-15 in their recent non-league bout against North Butler (Greene, IA)
