Mississippi High School Basketball - Marshall Academy fells Jumpertown
January 6, 2025: Booneville, MS 38829 The Marshall Academy Patriots basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Jumpertown Cardinals to 36 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.
The Patriots now have a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Hickory Flat for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Marshall Academy will confront a Rebels team coming off a 65-30 non-league loss to East Union (Blue Springs, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 6-13.
With the loss, Jumpertown falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Wheeler (Wheeler, MS) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 11-7. Wheeler lost 53-38 in their recent non-league game against Walnut (Walnut, MS)
