January 6, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, IA 52641 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) and the visiting New London Tigers (New London, IA), observed Mt. Pleasant's basketball team overwhelm New London by a margin of 52-14.
The Panthers (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairfield (Fairfield, IA). The Trojans come into the Southeast challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Fairfield was trounced by Centerville (Centerville, IA), 60-35, in a non-league challenge.

The Bears come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 54-35 non-league loss to English Valleys (North English, IA).
