January 6, 2025: Uxbridge, MA 01569 Uxbridge Spartans (Uxbridge, MA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Southbridge Pioneers (Southbridge, MA), 65-12 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Uxbridge upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Spartans host Notre Dame Academy (Worcester, MA) to face the Rebels in a non-league match on Thursday, January 9. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 2-2.
The Pioneers now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prouty for a South Worcester County - A match on Wednesday, January 8. Southbridge will face a Panthers squad coming off a 36-30 non-league loss to Oxford (Oxford, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
