The Redskins (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mercedes (Mercedes, TX). The Tigers enter the 5A Region 4 District 32 battle with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Javelinas face the Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Lobos enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX).
