Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Taft School knocks off Hill School
January 6, 2025: Watertown, CT 06795 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) and the visiting Hill School Rams (Pottstown, PA), witnessed Taft School's ice hockey team defeat Hill School by a final score of 7-1.
The Big Red (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT). The Beavers come into the challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Avon Old Farms got by Berkshire School (Sheffield, MA), 5-2, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) in a challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Hill School will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Cadets come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 1-0 league loss to Williston Northampton (Easthampton, MA).
