In Monday's league contest, the visiting North Catholic Trojans ice hockey team scored a close 6-2 triumph over the West Allegheny Indians.

The Trojans (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mars (Mars, PA). The Fightin' Planets come into the PIHL Class A Blue contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Mars got by Butler (Butler, PA), 8-4, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA) in a PIHL Class A Blue contest, on Monday, January 13. West Allegheny will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record.
