North Carolina High School Basketball - Athens Drive victorious over Riverside-Durham
January 6, 2025: Durham, NC 27712 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Athens Drive Jaguars basketball team scored a good 45-36 triumph over the Riverside-Durham Pirates.
The Jaguars (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sanderson (Raleigh, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Sanderson was topped by Wakefield (Raleigh, NC), 60-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Durham Academy Cavaliers (Durham, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Riverside-Durham will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 49-27 non-league win over Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC).
