Texas High School Basketball - Ector routed by Avery
January 6, 2026: Avery, TX 75554 Avery Bulldogs (Avery, TX) boosters went home thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team smash the visiting Ector Eagles (Ector, TX), 55-29 in a non-league contest.
The Bulldogs (17-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rivercrest (Bogata, TX). The Rebels go into the non-league contest with a 1-15 record. In their last contest, Rivercrest was trounced by Bowie (Simms, TX), 46-37, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Trinity Christian Academy Warriors (Paris, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 9. Ector will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 10-7 record after their 53-31 non-league win over Grayson Christian (Sherman, TX).
