In Friday's league outing, the Antelope Rams (Wellton, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Bagdad Sultans (Bagdad, AZ), by a margin of 55-21.

The Rams (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Phoenix Day School for the Deaf (Phoenix, AZ). The Roadrunners go into the 1A West outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Phoenix Day School for the Deaf was trounced by Salome (Salome, AZ), 59-24, in a league outing.

The Sultans now own a 1-16 record. They play next when they travel to Anthem Prep for a 1A West outing on Thursday, January 13. Bagdad will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 56-36 league loss to North Phoenix Preparatory Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 1-7.
