The Hornets now possess a 11-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brownwood for a 4A Region I District 6 battle on Friday, January 14. Gatesville will confront a Lions team coming off a 77-65 non-league win over Levelland (Levelland, TX). The Lions record now stands at 16-7.
The Rockets (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Madisonville (Madisonville, TX). The Mustangs come into the 4A Region III District 18 battle with a 16-3 record. In their last battle, Madisonville was toppled by Lufkin (Lufkin, TX), 56-44, in a non-league battle.
