Minnesota High School Basketball - Virginia overwhelmed by Hermantown
January 7, 2022: Hermantown, MN 55811 The Hermantown Hawks basketball team scored 94 points and restricted the visiting Virginia Blue Devils to 64 in the Hawks non-league victory on Friday.
The Hawks now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine City for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 8. Hermantown will battle a Dragons team coming off a 68-52 league win over Rush City (Rush City, MN). The Dragons record now stands at 4-3.
The Blue Devils (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Two Harbors (Two Harbors, MN). The Agates come into the AA Section 7 contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Two Harbors triumphed over Floodwood (Floodwood, MN), 83-40, in a non-league contest.
