Louisiana High School Basketball - Kennedy can't hold off Salmen
January 7, 2022: New Orleans, LA 70122 The Salmen Spartans basketball team scored 82 points and held the host Kennedy Cougars to 75 in the Spartans non-league win on Friday.
With the win, Salmen upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Spartans host Newman (New Orleans, LA) to play the Greenies in a non-league bout on Monday, January 10. The Greenies go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Newman won 64-61 in their recent non-league bout against Charlotte (Punta Gorda, FL)
Next up, the Cougars play the Sci Academy Commodores (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 10. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Commodores go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 64-62 non-league loss to Chalmette (Chalmette, LA).
