Sedgwick Cardinals (Sedgwick, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lyons Lions (Lyons, KS), 43-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sedgwick upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Berean Academy (Elbing, KS) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 7-1. Berean Academy won 44-42 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity (Hutchinson, KS)
