January 7, 2022: Red Oak, IA 51566 Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sioux City North Stars (Sioux City, IA), 58-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Red Oak upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA) to play the Mustangs in a Hawkeye Ten bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 2-9.
Next up, the Stars play the South Sioux City Cardinals (South Sioux City, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Sioux City North will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 58-38 non-league loss to Norfolk (Norfolk, NE).
