The Vanguard College Prep Vikings basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Hill Country Christian School of Austin Knights to 32 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Live Oak Classical for a TAPPS 3A District 4 contest on Tuesday, January 11.

The Knights (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. Andrew's (Austin, TX). The Highlanders enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, St. Andrew's was defeated by Savio (Austin, TX), 44-25, in a non-league contest.
