January 7, 2022: Glendale, AZ 85302 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Apollo Hawks (Glendale, AZ) and the visiting Thunderbird Titans (Phoenix, AZ), saw Apollo's soccer squad get by Thunderbird by a margin of 1-0.
The Hawks now sport a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Verrado for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 12. Apollo will encounter a Vipers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Centennial (Peoria, AZ). The Vipers record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Thunderbird drops to 3-5 on the season. The Titans host Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league test on Monday, January 10. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-4. Vista Grande lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ)
