In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Middletown Blue Dragons basketball team scored a decisive 89-40 triumph over the Achievement First .

In their next game, the Blue Dragons meet the Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 10. Middletown will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 8-0 record after their 92-47 non-league win over RHAM (Hebron, CT).
