Illinois High School Basketball - Centennial nips Addison Trail
January 7, 2023: Addison, IL 60101 Centennial Chargers (Champaign, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL), 39-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Centennial upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Chargers host Champaign Central (Champaign, IL) to play the Maroons in a Big Twelve bout on Friday, January 13. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 4-9.
Next up, the Blazers play the Proviso East Pirates (Maywood, IL) in a West Suburban - Gold bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Addison Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 67-54 non-league win over Thornwood (South Holland, IL).
