Florida High School Basketball - Babcock topped by Clewiston
January 7, 2023: Clewiston, FL 33440 The Clewiston Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Babcock Trailblazers to 35 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host LaBelle for a 4A District 12 contest on Thursday, January 12. Clewiston will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 63-43 non-league win over Donahue Catholic (Ave Maria, FL). The Cowboys record now stands at 11-3.
The Trailblazers (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mason Classical Academy (Naples, FL). The Paladins come into the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Mason Classical Academy was defeated by Seacrest Country Day (Naples, FL), 72-26, in a non-league contest.
