Washington High School Basketball - Bellingham nips Sequim
January 7, 2023: Sequim, WA 98382 Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sequim Wolves (Sequim, WA), 57-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bellingham upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Bayhawks host Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA) to play the Wildcats in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Oak Harbor won 56-43 in their recent league bout against Ferndale (Ferndale, WA)
Next up, the Wolves play the Port Angeles Roughriders (Port Angeles, WA) in a 2A Olympic bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Sequim will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Roughriders go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 74-39 league win over Kingston (Kingston, WA).
