Fans at Saturday's non-league test between the Brimley Bays (Brimley, MI) and the visiting International Academy Phoenix (Flint, MI), witnessed Brimley's basketball squad nip International Academy by a margin of 47-45.

The Bays (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Posen (Posen, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Posen was tipped by Hillman (Hillman, MI), 62-47, in a league test.

The Phoenix now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Morrice for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. International Academy will encounter a Orioles squad coming off a 58-54 non-league loss to Atherton (Burton, MI). The Orioles record now stands at 2-5.
