North Carolina High School Basketball - Carmel Christian overwhelms Corvian Community

January 7, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28269

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carmel Christian Cougars (Matthews, NC) and the host Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), saw Carmel Christian's basketball squad wallop Corvian Community by a tally of 76-43.

With the victory, Carmel Christian improves its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC) to play the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Legion Collegiate Academy lost 46-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Rickards (Tallahassee, FL)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) in a 1A Conference 38 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Corvian Community will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record.
