Iowa High School Basketball - Cascade overwhelms East Dubuque
January 7, 2023: Cascade, IA 52033 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cascade Cougars (Cascade, IA) and the visiting East Dubuque Warriors (East Dubuque, IL), saw Cascade's basketball squad wallop East Dubuque by a tally of 56-30.
With the victory, Cascade improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Bellevue (Bellevue, IA) to confront the Comets in a River Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Bellevue lost 90-78 in their recent non-league challenge against Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Stockton Blackhawks (Stockton, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - West challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. East Dubuque will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 43-41 league loss to River Ridge (Hanover, IL).
