Indiana High School Basketball - Northwestern overwhelms Clinton Prairie
January 7, 2023: Frankfort, IN 46041 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Northwestern Tigers (Kokomo, IN) and the host Clinton Prairie Gophers (Frankfort, IN), saw Northwestern's basketball squad wallop Clinton Prairie by a tally of 62-33.
With the victory, Northwestern improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Clinton Central (Michigantown, IN) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-8.
Next up, the Gophers play the Carroll Cougars (Flora, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland challenge, on Friday, January 13. Clinton Prairie will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 66-36 league win over Delphi Community (Delphi, IN).
