January 7, 2023: Newport News, VA 23602 The Denbigh Baptist Christian Minutemen basketball team (Newport News, VA), was overwhelmed 69-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Spirit HomeSchool Warhawks (Richmond, VA)
The Warhawks now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yeshiva of Virginia for a Capital City battle on Tuesday, January 10. Spirit HomeSchool will confront a team coming off a 43-39 non-league win over James River HomeSchool (Chesterfield, VA). The record now stands at 2-3.
The Minutemen (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Summit Christian Academy (Yorktown, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Summit Christian Academy was overwhelmed by Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA), 41-39, in a non-league battle.
