January 7, 2023: Oakridge, OR 97463 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Oakridge Warriors (Oakridge, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Eddyville Eagles (Eddyville, OR), by a count of 59-24.
The Warriors (2-6) will now prepare for their outing against Monroe (Monroe, OR). The Dragons go into the 2A Valley Coast outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Monroe smashed Reedsport (Reedsport, OR), 29-26, in a league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Mohawk for a 1A Mountain West outing on Tuesday, January 10. Eddyville will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 38-33 league win over Alsea (Alsea, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-3.
