Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pine Grove Panthers (Ripley, MS) and the host Falkner Eagles (Falkner, MS), saw Pine Grove's basketball squad wallop Falkner by a tally of 63-28.

With the victory, Pine Grove improves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS) to confront the Bearcats in a 2A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 12-0.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Ashland Blue Devils (Ashland, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Falkner will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record.
