Michigan High School Basketball - Waverly topples Ford
January 7, 2023: Lansing, MI 48917 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI) basketball squad beat the visiting Ford Trojans (Detroit, MI), by a count of 73-59.
The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against University Prep (Detroit, MI). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, University Prep was topped by L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI), 76-75, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now hold a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Renaissance for a Detroit Public I outing on Tuesday, January 10. Ford will clash with a Phoenix squad coming off a 73-35 non-league win over Denby (Detroit, MI). The Phoenix record now stands at 7-3.
