In Saturday's non-league outing, the Waverly Vikings (Waverly, NE) basketball squad felled the visiting Gering Bulldogs (Gering, NE), by a margin of 56-46.

The Vikings (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Mount Michael Benedictine (Elkhorn, NE). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Mount Michael Benedictine thwarted Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA), 80-66, in a non-league bout.
