Idaho High School Basketball - Gooding thwarts Hansen
January 7, 2023: Gooding, ID 83330 The Gooding Senators (Gooding, ID) basketball knocked off the visiting Hansen Huskies (Hansen, ID), 72-54 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Senators (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Buhl (Buhl, ID). The Indians go into the 3A Sawtooth Central Idaho test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Buhl notched a victory over Kimberly (Kimberly, ID), 44-38, in a league test.
The Huskies now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lighthouse Christian for a 1A Snake River test on Tuesday, January 10. Hansen will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 50-41 league win over Carey (Carey, ID). The Lions record now stands at 8-1.
