Illinois High School Basketball - Iroquois West tops Herscher
January 7, 2023: Herscher, IL 60941 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL) and the host Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL), saw Iroquois West's basketball squad knock off Herscher by a tally of 58-49.
With the victory, Iroquois West improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Westville (Westville, IL) to play the Tigers in a Vermilion Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Westville won 64-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Marshall (Marshall, IL)
Next up, the Tigers play the Manteno Panthers (Manteno, IL) in a Illinois Central 8 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Herscher will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 51-48 league loss to Peotone (Peotone, IL).
