January 7, 2023: New Lexington, OH 43764 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the New Lexington Panthers (New Lexington, OH) and the visiting KIPP Columbus Jaguars (Columbus, OH), saw New Lexington's basketball squad overcome KIPP Columbus by a tally of 56-44.
With the victory, New Lexington improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Crooksville (Crooksville, OH) to confront the Ceramics in a Muskingum Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Ceramics come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Crooksville lost 69-42 in their recent league challenge against John Glenn (New Concord, OH)
Next up, the Jaguars confront the Ohio School for the Deaf Spartans (Columbus, OH) in a Freelance challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. KIPP Columbus will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 69-33 league loss to Horizon Science Academy (Columbus, OH).
