The Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Red Lion Lions to 61 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Pioneers now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Octorara Area for a Lancaster-Lebanon 4 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Lampeter-Strasburg will battle a Braves team coming off a 71-54 non-league loss to Downingtown West (Downingtown, PA). The Braves record now stands at 6-5.

The Lions (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA). The Rockets come into the York-Adams 1 contest with a 4-3 record.
