In Saturday's non-league outing, the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) basketball squad edged the host Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL), by a count of 53-49.

The Spartans (7-9) will now prepare for their outing against La Lumiere Blue (La Porte, IN). The Lakers go into the non-league outing with a 4-5 record.
