January 7, 2023: Skillman, NJ 08559 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ) basketball squad edged the host Montgomery Cougars (Skillman, NJ), by a margin of 55-52.
The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lakewood (Lakewood, NJ). The Piners go into the Shore C - South outing with a 0-7 record.
The Cougars now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Phillipsburg for a Skyland - Raritan outing on Tuesday, January 10. Montgomery will clash with a Stateliners squad coming off a 52-47 non-league loss to Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ). The Stateliners record now stands at 4-4.
