The Plateau Valley Cowboys (Collbran, CO) basketball overwhelmed the visiting North Park Wildcats (Walden, CO), 53-23 in Saturday's league outing.

The Cowboys (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Rangely (Rangely, CO). The Panthers go into the 2A/1A Western Slope outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Rangely smashed Soroco (Oak Creek, CO), 64-47, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Hayden for a 2A/1A Western Slope outing on Saturday, January 14. North Park will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 59-24 league win over West Grand (Kremmling, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.
